Media Centre

The Tour of Britain provides a variety of services to journalists covering the race and will aim to assist any journalist wishing to write a feature about the event by supplying photography and quotes as applicable.

Media Accreditations on the race

The Tour of Britain welcomes applications from journalists and photographers who wish to cover the race. Please complete the online form found here.

You will need an accreditation if you want to:

• Gain access to the start village (to gain access to riders before a stage start)
• Gain access to the finish to photograph the end of a stage
• Gain access to the media centre at stage finishes (for press conference etc)

Photography from motorcycles

Access to the race and the right to photograph the event from a motorcycle are strictly by prior negotiation with the Tour of Britain organisers. If you wish to do this, please contact the Tour of Britain organisation with details of your nominated pilot as early as possible prior to the event.

A note about safety

Reasonable access to the race and to the press centre will be granted to all accredited media, however, access to the finish straight of the race will be strictly managed and any photographer or journalist who ignores instructions of a member of staff may be asked to leave the race. This is done in the interests of a safe event for all and your cooperation is appreciated.
